Wow, EB has just won another competition? Taking it as the master of street in 2006.. And Haffey beat out Brian Aragon for 3rd place too even after he said that he wouldn't come back to The Skate Factory that Aragon had pulled a fakie hurricane topsoul... Hmm.

I think the trick with competitions is consistancy, patience and lastly tricks. You have to do things that you know you can land smoothly. Even the biggest trick will look lame if you end in a face plant. At a lot of the comps I've been to, people have just kept on trying ridiculous stuff to no-avail with hopes that the one trick would win the session. I don't think this works for most competition formats though.

Am I missing something?
